Movement

Movement provides a platform for many community groups to participate in the ROOT 1066 Festival.

A partnership between the Craftivist Network and artist Caroline Le Breton, Movement takes the arrow as a reference to the historic past and signifier of future direction. Participants will make and decorate arrows and banners that communicate what they value most. Groups from across Hastings and Rother will process to the Stade, carrying their work, to create a dazzling installation in the Stade Hall - a swoop of silver birds, a clutch of arrows.

Everyone is invited to see the installation take shape, enjoy refreshments and music, buy handmade souvenirs or make an arrow to take home.
