'We work in the dark - We do what we can - We give what we have'

In the wake of the EU referendum this exhibition takes ideas from 'The Europeans', a novel by Rye author, Henry James, on the 100th anniversary of his death. James' novel explores the relationship between the importance of restrained good manners and liberated exuberance.

This group of contemporary European artists investigate these ideas and raise questions about the ways in which we navigate and understand the modern world. Part of the Rye Arts Festival.
