Project Art Works

The incomparable Project Art Works collaborate with those with complex needs - creating first-class art in the process.

It is a truly ground-breaking, interdisciplinary organisation. The cultural sector interacts with social care; art becomes a means to develop sustained support networks, and to emphasise the creative excellence expressed by such processes.

Prominent past exhibitions include No Church in the Wild (at two Romney Marsh churches), In the Realm of Others (at the De La Warr Pavilion) and more recently Sam Smith's solo exhibition at the BlackShed Gallery.

Project Art Works also run a popular programme of summer Art Breaks, providing more opportunities for those with complex needs.

We are also pleased to say that they will be creating Drift (an event for ROOT 1066) - viewable here (featured image).
